Hi all,I will also be this Sunday at Bezerkacon in Balmain (http://bezerka.com) for a book signing. It's also promising to be a pretty awesome convention in general, for those who love games, art and general slightly-geeky fun :)
Cheers, Assaph
ps. I'm still giving away ebbok review copies of my own fantasy murder mystery, for those interested.
Thanks!! My wife promised to take photos, so we'll remember how it started - before the movie deal and private island ;-)
Hi guys,With all the new year reading challenges Brenda is kindly posting for us, I'd like to offer you that Murder in absentia is:
- By an Aussie author
- Murder Mystery (hard-boiled detective)
- Debut novel (2015)
- Probably something new to you
- Voted* as best fantasy murder mystery for 2015
(* Vote was by my cat. He's somewhat biased, because the protagonist is named after him. But you can see other reviews here and on Amazon that will agree with him :)
You can also read the novel for free, if you promise to review it later. (You don't even have to keep the promise - Felix would never know).
Cheers!
Assaph
Hi Assaph, sounds like a book I would like. I promise to post a review but it may be a few weeks if that's Ok.I 'll PM you my email.

For those of you interested in murder mysteries with a touch of paranormal, I'm looking for reviewers of my debut novel.
The novel itself is in a fantasy, quasi-Roman world - but I am fully Aussie :) Well, 13 years of fully Aussie at least. I live, work and write in Sydney these days.
I've subtitled my novel Murder in-absentia as "a story of togas, daggers, and magic". It is a detective mystery set in a fantasy setting that draws on ancient Rome for cultural background.
I won't compare myself to such Australian literary luminaries as Colleen McCullough and her Masters of Rome series, but she has been inspirational in my own writing.
Follow the above link for a full blurb, and send me a message if you'd like a review copy (no strings attached).
Cheers!
Assaph
