December Pick-It-For-Me Challenge

What's a TBR Pick-It-For-Me Challenge?

Like the name implies, those who participate in this monthly challenge will have a book selected for them by a partner. Partners will be randomly paired up. You will choose a book for your partner from their to read list (TBR), and they will choose one for you from your TBR list.

Once you have picked the book, come back to this thread and post what book you have chose for your partner. Also send a message to the person with the name of the book you have selected for them. Then when you're done with your book, come back to this thread and post your opinion so we know you have completed the challenge.

For this challenge, you need to either HAVE YOUR PROFILE SET TO PUBLIC (preferable) or make the person you're paired with your friend. I strongly advise keeping your bookshelves updated, otherwise you might end up with a recommendation for something that you've already read.

Sign up period will remain open until November 28 and you'll have until December 1st to select a book for your partner.

***Please note***Everything will be done in this thread so check it often. Also, please be sure you really, really want to participate. Once I pair up people, it makes it difficult to re-pair when someone decides not to participate.

You are welcome to participate. The only requirement is once pairs are to pick for your partner by December 1st. Do you think that is something you can do on your tight schedule?

Thanks for the picks, Elle. I think I'm gonna go with . The choice was difficult. But, I already have a lot of series going on. So, I thought it was wise not to start another.

P.S. A fun TBR list can be troublesome, too, if it keeps on growing continously. ;-)

We can only do so much hon. I almost didn't finish all of my challenges. I'm not doing a pifm in January accept in the one group I'm a new mod for, I'm going to try to take a break and get some of my tbr down with what I want to read before jumping back into all of the group stuff. I have a grueling yearly challenge I gave myself for 2016. I don't know what I was thinking! Uggg, we can only do our best right?

Thank you for sharing this. I'm in the same boat - I only finished part of my pick this month. December just got plain busy! I do plan on finishing the book in January and will report back here when it is done.
