The Flann O'Brien is taking me forever, as enjoyable as it is, and it seems nobody else is rushing through it either.
Still, the two novels should make an interesting pairing.

Calvino is one of my favorite writers, but it's a few
years since I've read IF ON A WINTER'S NIGHT - but
the discussions have made me return to the novel.
I personally don't go for story telling per se, so
Burroughs and Calvino, turning narrative away from the
comfort zone and taking me where I haven't been before
- well, it's where my interest lies.
