ABANDONED. long lost/unknown daughter with a sitcom actress mother?

The book I am looking for is about a man who finds out he has a teenage daughter. The sitcom My Two Dads or something a lot like it figures into the plot as the lead actress in this show was either the girl's mother or was close to her. The father uses song lyrics/titles as email subjects (the only one I can remember is Loser by Beck) and in the end, the daughter runs away to watch the final episode of the show.

The child was being raised by two moms when there was an accident in which both moms died. Her biological father (through a donation) takes her in, but she's struggling with the death of her mothers. The story is told through e-mails, instant messages, journal entries, and such.

If this isn't it (but I'm almost certain it is), I'll keep looking for it because I'm sure I recognize the part about the daughter running away to watch the final episode of her mom's show. (Unfortunately, my sister has my copy of the book right now so I can't pull it to check.)
