I sometimes have to keep reminding myself that this book was written in 1996 and a bunch of it is set in like 2019. So it's interesting that the technology guessing is a bit off. They have advanced AI and tablets and whatnot but nobody has a cell phone and video calling is made out to be a pretty big deal in it. I hope I remember to discuss that in a month
