They eventually get to the Deeps at the end of the book.

Roger shoots a gun to propel them forwards, down the void further and they end up in a second world with a second sun. They have many interesting adventures here. They go topsoil, and back down there. Topsoil again, and back down. Topsoil again, and they find out about the Phase. They now have to put a stop to this. Everyone discovers many new details and amazing technology.
**END OF BACKGROUND INFO**

Will has many traits- he loves to dig, he loves his father, and his mother, he hates the Rebeccas(or at least now he does), and he ABSOLUTELY HATES THE STYX!!! We know a lot about Will Burrows, and his many traits!
Will is very dynamic. In Book 1 Will was adventurous, naïve, and a loner. Now, in [end of] book 5 and [beginning of] book 6, Will is slightly less adventurous, very precautious, and aware of many more things. He has changed a lot.

A foil character is a character whose actions/appearances/etc. make the other characters features stand out more. Will is (currently in book 6) very cautious, and is not afraid to use his sten gun. Karl jumps right into everything, but hates to use his Sten gun. These are complete opposites. Will’s actions make Karl seem weak. Karl's characteristics make Wills characteristics seem a lot stronger. Will tells Eliott not to put her fingers in the tri-line symbol, meanwhile, without thinking, Karl tells Eliott to put her fingers in the symbol just so that they could see what happens. As you can see, Karl acts without thinking, but Will thinks about the dangerous possibilities of his actions before acting. This makes Will seem like he is not prepared to die, and Will wanting to stay alive just makes Karl's wanting to die a lot worse. These two characters are major foils for each other.

Some characters stay the same throughout the series (static), others change a lot (dynamic)! There are multiple foil characters in the series as well.
This thread will consist of multiple broken up comments that will be deleted to make way for 3 very large comments- The Background Info, the Flat or Round and Dynamic or Static, and the foil characters. All of the broken up comments combined into one. The old, broken up comments will be deleted.
