Suze is a mediator - a liaison between the living and the dead. In other words, she sees dead people. So I just started and I'd forgotten how fun Suzannah is. She's just so chill and real. I also thought that the precap thing while she was thinking was really helpful since I read the first book many months ago.

Chapter 6

(view spoiler)[ happy to be jumping back in with Jesse, Suze and her family. I like how the author referenced a few things that happened in the last book (kind of reintroducing the stepbrothers and their nicknames, her friends, what happened with the last ‘spirit’ , etc) because it has been a little while since I read the first book. I think it’s funny that her dad talked to Jesse! But who is this screaming girl?! Jesse and Suze’s Dad are telling her to be careful and Jesse says she isn’t who Suze thinks. So maybe she isn’t the wife? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1-3 (view spoiler)[I love Suze's mind ! She's so funny with her sarcastic retorts, especially when harassing Brad. Plus she has no patience ! I always forget she's only 16 (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 9

(view spoiler)[ Mr. Beaumont is definitely creepy! Father Dom has come to the conclusion that he is a vampire - there are signs pointing to that. it would make sense with how his office is - all dark and the butler (?) worrying if he had done anything to Suze and checking her neck. Makes me wonder if thats why he never returned Suze's calls. Is he ever really even in the office? Maybe he goes there at night. Maybe he has a special office. Maybe he just works from home. I wonder how Tad fits into all of this too. Seems that he is out doing normal teenager stuff. If he truly is a vampire I can see why Jesse and her dad were warning her. Maybe he was trying to change his wife and it went bad. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 13

(view spoiler)[ so the visit with CeeCee’s aunt was pretty interesting. They did end up getting in touch with Mrs. Fiske but oddly enough she isn’t the one visiting Suze though there is the resemblance. So me Beaumont is definitely a vampire but seems that he’s one that wants to makes amends. Quite forward to drug your child - wonder how often he has done that? I also doubt that a Suze has killed him. Curious to see how she gets out of this one! (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ ok. so he wasn't a vampire. At first I was skeptical but then I though hey - a lot of my books have supernaturals. If there are mediators why not vampires?! Well, turns out someone was just drugging him - probably Marcus wanting to cash in on the businesses. Sure did find out who the woman was who was screeching in her room in the middle of the night, but she definitely found out a lot more in her process! I hope Tad gets through it all ok and that his dad is able to get back to his old self. I am confident that Jesse and Suze's dad have taken care of Marcus. He deserves to pay for what he has done and facing his demons for the rest of his life sounds like the perfect way to do so. (hide spoiler)]

I really wonder if Cee Cee doesn't like her aunt for another reason. It was funny that Size did summon Mrs Fiske without trying.

It was funny the way Suze knocked Brad out. Can't wait to see how Suze will get herself out of this situation. Marcus seems really intent on killing her (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 23 -> Finished (view spoiler)[Size is so cool !! She totally nailed it against Marcus who was a real serial killer btw !! Too bad Tad is in such a denial stage about his family but a good thing his dad was just drugged up (seems to happen often in this family). David was the real Red, makes sense now. And Gina is coming yeahhh !

Glad to have delved back in the mediator world ! I still love Jesse and I want more of him. I also discovered there was a 7th book so I'll be sure to check it out (I never say no to Jesse and Suze) (hide spoiler)]
