Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 7583 comments I sometimes read more than one book at a time. Usually one book then at least one audio. Oftentimes, the audio is not a particular favorite then I will leave it in my car. Sometimes I get so hung up on the audio I can't wait to clean house. That is my favorite time to listen, as it makes cleaning much more bearable. If the audio is a book I like I have to decide which book I am going to listen to when I can. Then I vacillate. Sometimes it is the book other times it is the audio.

Sandra J Weaver (sandraweaver) | 149 comments I often have three or four novels going at once. One of them may be audio, and one is often a reread. In addition I usually have at least one or two magazines and a nonfiction book in progress (These are mostly craft related). If something I'm reading really grabs my attention, I'll stick with it till it's done. If I really liked it, it will immediately become my reread novel.

Janeiowa | 5009 comments While I have read more than one at a time, I don't much anymore. I've never gotten into audiobooks.

When I get involved in a book, I'll read it to the end quickly, and then get on to th next one. If it doesn't grab me, it'll go onto a TAL (Try again later) or a DNF (did not finish) shelf. There are too many good books or new ones to try to waste time on an author who hasn't pulled me in.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 1619 comments One track mind. One book at a time.

CD {Boulder Blvd} (boulderblvd) | 1047 comments Although I prefer reading one book at a time, when I have a book that is a struggle to get through, I'll move on to something that grabs me. And there have been times when it has taken 3 or 4 books before something grabs me and I'll have four books in process at the same time.

❤️ Dorsey aka Wrath Lover Reviews ❤️ Normally one book at a time...I envy readers who can read 2, 3, 4 books at a time, unfortunately I'm not one of them. However; I will listen to an audio book while commuting or doing stuff around the house and then go back to my read.

Dee Sauter (indeathaddict) | 7583 comments If I have a book that is really good. I like to get both the audio and the book and listen when I am not able to read then pick up and read when I don't have to listen. That way I get the best of both worlds.

I tend to do that with my BDB books when they are released, but other than that series I tend to read & listen to separate books.

Wendy Kalthoff (wkalthoff) | 132 comments I try to read at least 2, because if I don't like one then I have the other boom to read.

Jonetta (ejaygirl) I am always reading an eBook and listening to an audiobook. They're generally in different genres because the couple of times they were the same, I kept confusing the stories.

Sandra J Weaver (sandraweaver) | 149 comments I usually have three or four books going at once along with a couple of my beading or knitting magazines. One may be an audio book, and one is often nonfiction. Right now I have two started and I think I'm going to start another this evening. Of course if one really grabs me, I'll finish it first.

message 12: by AliciaJ (new)

AliciaJ I find myself usually with three or four going at the same time. I like to switch them up and read whatever one fits my mood at the time.

Eve (everf) | 815 comments Usually one book at a time. When story is good, then I finish it before starting with new one. But I quite often start several books but if they are boring, then I just stop reading till I find something that's better. Its always so frustrating when nothing seems to fit my mood...

❤️ Dorsey aka Wrath Lover Reviews ❤️ I can only read one book at a time.
