Leslie | 359 comments Here's our reading schedule for our next selection. I've tried to divide this along obvious page breaks while keeping in mind it's the holidays. If this feels too fast, please don't stress. Take your time and enjoy the book. The thread will stay up for awhile. My goal was to complete this before Christmas and allow enough time to vote for a new selection for the New Year.

Reading Schedule:

1. Part 1: Chapters 1-2 (read by November 13) - 72 pages
2. Part 1: Chapters 3-4 (read by November 20) - 110 pages
3. Part 2: Chapters 1-2 (read by November 27) - 98 pages
4. Part 3: Chapters 1-2 (read by December 4) - 86 pages
5. Part 3: Chapters 3-4 (read by December 11) - 76 pages
6. Book Overview and Final Thoughts (through December 18)

Susie | 76 comments I will be joining in, but don't expect to stick to the reading schedule since I'm already way behind in Life Of Christ Life of Christ by Fulton J. Sheen (but still moving along!).

I like to read these type of books when I'm 'called' to it, so I am open and receptive to the message.

I read No Man Is An Island, No Man Is an Island by Thomas Merton many years ago and remember really liking it. I'm going to skim back through it (a lot of highlights ;)) before I start this one.

Leslie | 359 comments I own, but haven't read, No Man Is An Island. There are so many good books to read!!!!!

Take your time. I don't like to be rushed either and generally approach my books the same way. I started Life of Christ, but you guys were several chapters into it when I joined and I didn't want to rush through so waited for the next new book to start. I know the thread will be there and as I get to it, I'll read through everyone's comments.

That's what I do and Life Of Christ is packed full of goodies...heavy, intense topics with much to reflect on...

Susan Margaret (susanmargaretg) | 538 comments I can't believe that we are already more than half way finished with this book. Only a few more weeks left!
