Shirrá Lynn (shirralynnromance) | 1 comments Hello All,

I'm Shirra Lynn, I am new author, and I was hoping to stop in to find some reviewers for my first two books and some author friends! :)

kittykat AKA Ms. Tortitude | 34 comments Hi everyone

I'm new to the group but a long time GR user and have been writing (or trying in some situations!) reviews for a few years now.

My primary genre is romance, but I do read others including some speculative fiction, literary/general fiction and mystery/thrillers.

Should anyone wish to read my introductory essay😆 (yes, I'm a rambler and if I had any thoughts of authorship I would need to firmly discipline myself!) take a deep breath and enter my 'page' in the group here.

Nelson Foley (nelsonkfoley) | 6 comments Hi All. My name is Nelson K. Foley and The Bridge to Rembrandt is my first book. Although I am not new to publishing (my background is scientific publishing), fiction is new and I thoroughly enjoyed my first attempt. My many critics also helped me along, as well as the spirit of Arthur Conan Doyle who sits happily on my family tree, albeit a bit laterally.
The genre is historical fiction with a thread of romance through the centuries, and we also meet Rembrandt.
I am naturally looking for as many reviewers as possible, so please get in touch if you would like a copy. Here is a sample on Reedsy: https://reedsy.com/discovery/book/the...
The Amazon link is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/909...
My email is sansan@xstracta.com
My thanks to all

Miranda Chivers (mirandajchivers) | 1 comments Hi All. I'm a new historical fiction writer (writing as MJ Krause-Chivers) but previously published as a Christian NF (Miranda J. Chivers).
My newest release (print releases soon, e-book September 7): Russian Mennonite Chronicles: (Book One): Katarina's Dark Shadow is available for pre-order on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/RUSSIAN-MENNON...
This series is based on the true history of my grandparents flight from Russia during the Russian Revolution and the years 1915-1921, but the characters and storyline are entirely fictional.
Book One, Katarina's Dark Shadow takes us through the MC coming of age years. We learn about the Mennonite culture in Russia, her family and her deep bond with her sister. Then we jump forward to 1951 to meet her son who is still distressed by his mother's death in WW2. After he finds her diaries, he wonders if she's still alive — maybe stuck behind Stalin's iron curtain in Ukraine. For a former translator for the German SS, that's an dangerous place to visit.
As a reader, I want to know what happened to Katarina. Do her diaries hold the clues to her disappearance? Is she dead or alive? The mystery deepens. Because her infant child — born during the Revolution — is missing in Ukraine. There's a reason she needed to go back to the old country during WW2.
This is book one, but you'll need to read the first one to understand the rest of the story.
Free ARC copies available for an honest review. Please send me a private message or connect with me on FB.
Please let me know what you liked or didn't like. I'll consider your questions and comments for Book 2.

Sam Stone | 36 comments Hi there- My name is Sam Houston, and while I'm not new to Goodreads, this is my first time really exploring the site and using it properly. I am transitioning from a 30-year career in law enforcement, and finally letting myself really write with the goal of publishing. I am almost finished with my 1st draft of my debut novel (tentatively titled, "Reaper"). My genre is thriller/military and law enforcement action/adventure. At least that's my intention! I've begun the process of contracting with an editor and hope to self-publish in the next 60 days or so. Would love to enter into some reciprocal reviewing with y'all and help us all reach our goals. Thanks!

Hey, I'm Rae and I'm a passionate bookworm and (TV and) book blogger. I love reading fantasy, especially (but not only) series written and led by women, and females ;-) of every shape, form, sexual orientation.... actually the more diverse the better. I also love reading romance, dystopian, sci-fi, mystery, as well as fiction and non-fiction feminist books and memoirs. Although I prefer adult and new adult genres, I also read YA.

Sarah J. Maas, Leigh Bardugo, Talia Hibbert, are my ultimate favorite authors, but I also love and enjoy discovering amazing new and new to me talented authors.

I accept review requests (ebook, hard copy, and audio) that I will publish on my growing blogs, Goodreads, and social media platforms (or any other places desired). I'm looking forward to discovering my new favorite authors and bookish obsessions!

Hi Rae,

This may be on the edge of what you are interested in but my debut novel called Shimmer's central character is a girl called Lyra. Shimmer is about a cat and a girl who both lose their way but, when they meet, help each other to find their way back home.

My actor daughter Emily (aged 12) has started an audiobook version of 'Shimmer' which can be found on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

If the audiobook whets your appetite then please message me on goodreads and I would be more than happy to send you a free physical copy to read & review.

Warm Regards
