J.E. (johnmullane) | 1 comments Hi. I'm John. I'm new to the site. I've written three novels and am well into the fourth. I'm in the process of learning the many steps involved in self-publishing. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and thought I'd reach out.
By the way, my wife is Canadian, does that count?

I'm another 'new to the group, new to goodreads' person. My name is David, and likes a lot of people here I've just released my first book, a short story collection full of horror, sf, fantasy, and magical realism (you can find it here getBook.at/NightAlphabet). I'm hoping to find some interesting things to look at here.

Antoinette Corum | 3 comments Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the group. I'm a retired elementary school teacher (30+ years). I have written a series of four juvenile science fiction/fantasy books which I believe will also appeal to teens and young adults. The books relate the antics of Sophie, a snooty Siamese cat, and Max, a mixed-breed mutt. Through the use of magic chants and mystical crystals, the animals travel to other dimensions where they transform into their human counterparts. You can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/Sophie-Max-Ant... and download it free tomorrow, Sunday, April 6. I would really appreciate reviews.

A.P. Mobley (apmobley) | 3 comments Hello there!

I'm a YA fantasy author, my first book being "The Helm of Darkness" (War on the Gods, #1) which is a fantasy adventure with lots of Greek mythology.

I'm usually reading at least 3 books at a time (I'm insane, I know) and I'm trying to find readers who would be interested in reviewing my debut novel. I will post the details for that in another discussion.

Hoping to meet new people in the reader and writer communities!

David Patneaude | 13 comments Hi readers and writers,
I'm Dave, a writer of YA novels and stories (ten published so far, although it's taken me 25 years), and a reader of all kinds of stuff (including YA, even though I'm definitely no longer a YA myself). I have a new novel coming out June 1, and I'd like to get it reviewed eventually, but I understand there's a way to do that, and I'll work with whatever the protocol is. After the dust settles, I'd like to look into doing some reviews of other writers' work also.

Mike Dixon (mikedixon) | 2 comments Hi Everyone,
My name is Mike Dixon. I was born in the UK and lived in France and South Africa before moving to Australia as a young guy. I started my career in astrophysics, worked for a while in Canberra’s Parliament House, became a science journalist, entered the diving industry and built a backpacker resort. I’m now retired, in the sense that I no longer need to work for a living. This gives me time for travelling, reading and writing. My genre in mystery thrillers.

Sherry Brown | 7 comments Hi all!

I self-published my first book, The Distance Between Dreams, in December 2017. I am now working to share it with the world and building up reviews seems to be what's needed to get it out there!

Being an voracious reader is what got me started on the path to writing, so two years ago I quit my "day-job" in marketing and became self-employed!

I love hiking, wine, yoga and my dog. :P

David Laing | 33 comments I'm looking for reviews (exchanges OK) for my intergenerational love story, "Angelika." The plot involves a 40-year-old teacher at a prep school with whom an 18-year-old German exchange student falls desperately in love. Their backgrounds, particularly in regard to sex, are very different because they grew up before and after "the pill," respectively, which leads to serious misunderstandings and awkward situations that ultimately bring the story to its inevitable conclusion. Welcome. But when I Compared books with you, I got the message, "Your tastes are 0% similar for the books you both rated," so unless you have read a lot of classics and mainstream novels you haven't put up or rated, I'm going to leave you to the tender mercies of others. You're my first 0%, though it was based on only two books overlapping, so it's not that important a statistic. But I'm still chuckling.

I've been a member of this group for years, and now I update my fellow authors and readers that since last summer I'm proud to call myself a USA Today Bestselling author, since my collaborative efforts to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research resulted in this honor.

I write gripping romance novels and would love to have more reviews from any readers who enjoy this particular genre. Here's the link to my Amazon author page with the four novels I have out so far: https://www.amazon.com/Gloria-Silk/e/...

To celebrate my launch of Nobody's Baby But Mine I've got some great sales on for a few days. The first one (First and Only Destiny: deeply romantic YA novel) is free for a few days. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N7VTCE4

The others are all at 99cents for a short while.

I'd be glad to reciprocate by reading and giving an honest review for the agreed books of like minded romance authors, If you're interested please DM me. See the current reviews from all platforms and here on GR.
And, of course, as always, all romance readers/reviewers welcome.
Thanks again, USA Today Bestselling Author, Gloria Silk
