The Giver
question
Round, Flat. Dynamic, & Static characters.

I think Jonas is a dynamic character. In the beginning of the story, he doesn't really think anything about the world around him. I mean, yes he realizes that some things are very specific and strict, but he doesn't really think of his world as strange. When he gets assigned a specific task/job, his whole perspective changes. His thoughts and ideas about everything change and he suddenly feels the need to fix the world he is living in. Through his whole experience, his whole view of things change.

I agree. Jonas is naturally independent and ignorant about the world around him. But once he is selected to become The Receiver, he becomes more curious, which dynamicizes Jonas' character. I like how you described how Jonas's view changed. It is nicely detailed. What about the Giver though? Is he flat or dynamic?
I agree. He does change as he gets to know his community better. This did change his perspective on things
I mean dynamic or static
I agree with Daniela. I feel that the Giver doesn't change that much throughout the story but the traits that the giver have rub off on Jonas making Jonas a more dynamic character.
