top of the to read pile

I've just started reading A Window Opens, which found its merry way to the top of my To Read pile, which got me to thinking about how many said piles I actually have (about 10), where they live (the bedroom, the living room, the kitchen, a cupboard, the hall closet...), and how many of these books are actually "in progress" (also about 10). Anyone else read in this crazy way?

I do! I have my current reading pile, my next up pile, my library books pile, my next-next up pile.. ahhh not enough hours in the day!
