Which book did you read? The Cloud Hunters

Did you enjoy it? The world building was great, the story was ok, so overall, I enjoyed the book.

Did you have difficulties to find an author? Yes and I was lucky to find one who write children books.

Will you read more from this author? I shelved another title, I'm curious to see more of his work, but I probably won't read it soon.

Did you enjoy it? Yes, very much.

Did you have difficulties to find an author? Not really.

Will you read more from this author? Yes I think so, as I enjoy historical fiction.

Jody (jodybell) | 531 comments Which book did you read? Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie (do I get extra points for sharing all three initials with the author??)

Did you enjoy it? Yes ... sort of.

Did you have difficulties to find an author? I didn't have a huge amount of choice, but was very thankful to have one with a book that I needed to read!

Will you read more from this author? Probably not.

Anastasia (anastasiaharris) | 319 comments Which book did you read?
Act of Will

Did you enjoy it?
Yes, I did.

Did you have difficulties to find an author?
:) I did have a difficult time. I finally scanned the shelves in the library to find an author.

Will you read more from this author?
He will not be a favourite author, but I will not hesitate to read more of his books.

Silvia Turcios | 304 comments Which book did you read? The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 3/4 by Sue Townsend

Did you enjoy it? Not in the beginning, but after I got used to the situation, I was laughing out loud with the book.

Did you have difficulties to find an author?
Yes! :( I had to check a lot of lists and I just could find authors whose books were not in the library. At the end I found two, but the one by Townsend sounded funnier and I wanted to read something funny at that moment.

Will you read more from this author? Yes, maybe someday

Sarah | 186 comments Which book did you read? A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Did you enjoy it? I really did. It was a great first read for a new to me author.

Did you have difficulties to find an author? I was surprised at how hard it was to find an author with my initials.

Will you read more from this author? I sure will! My next read will be A Court of Mist and Fury the second book out next May.

message 8: by Kathy (new)

Kathy E Which book did you read? Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah

Did you enjoy it? Yes, I liked the story a lot.

Did you have difficulties to find an author? I used my initials with my maiden name as my last name initial so it was easy. My married name was more limited.

Will you read more from this author? Yes, I plan to read The Nightingale in 2016.

Eleanor | 25 comments Which book did you read? WUTHERING HEIGHTS Emily Bronte

Did you enjoy it? LOVED IT - I was lucky enough to go to a very controversial lecture on it just after I'd finished - the icing on the cake!!

Did you have difficulties to find an author? I was really lucky with this one - I had been meaning to reread Wuthering Heights for the past few years.

Will you read more from this author? It's her only book.

Christi (christibooks) Which book did you read? What Would Mary Berry Do? by Claire Sandy

Did you enjoy it? I really did. I laughed out loud in several places. It's a fun, lighthearted book. I'm glad I recently discovered The Great British Bake-Off so the premise and the Mary Berry references made sense.

Did you have difficulties to find an author? Yes! It seems most authors with my initials are Harlequin romance type writers.

Will you read more from this author? Definitely. Unfortunately she's not available on Kindle in the US or in any of our local libraries. I had to order this book used from Amazon.

Megan (megan_morris) | 170 comments Which book did you read?

Cinder

Did you enjoy it?

Meh. It was alright, but nothing spectacular.

Did you have difficulties to find an author?

I don't recall it was so long ago I made my list, but I think I came up with this one pretty fast.

Will you read more from this author?

I'll probably try the second book to see where the secondary plot line progresses to but it's not high on my list and if book two doesn't do much for me either I will likely not continue the series.

Danaë | 30 comments Which book did you read? Moll Flanders by Daniel Defore

Did you enjoy it? Yes, I gave it 3 stars. I felt it dragged a bit in places, but the main character was quite interesting.

Did you have difficulties to find an author? Yes and no. I thought of Daniel Defoe right away, but spent some time looking for other options. I like to have a few books in mind, so I can choose according to mood.

Will you read more from this author? I'm sure someday I will get around to Robinson Crusoe at least.

Michelle (mich2689) | 122 comments Which book did you read? Bed-Knob and Broomstick

Did you enjoy it? Not really. I haven't really read any children's books as an adult, with the exception of Harry Potter, and maybe that's why I didn't enjoy it.

Did you have difficulties to find an author? Yes. I finally went to the library and looked for an author there. This was the only one I found.

Will you read more from this author? Most likely not.
