round and flat characters

In the book Tuck Everlasting the book has either flat or round characters. A round character is a character that has many thoughts, feelings, and motivations,many character traits about him and they may also change over the course of the story. Unlike a round character a flat character are more two-dimensional so they do not change throughout the course of a story and doesn't have many character traits. Miles and Jesse I think are round characters in the story because they end up changing and have many character traits. Mae is a static and flat characters. A static character is a literary or dramatic character who undergoes little or no inner change. The only thing she changed was when she drank the potion. Who do you guys think the round and characters are in the book tuck everlasting? (that is what i thought!!)
