KK (kk567) | 20 comments Help, I have a question. This is the first year that I am doing the Goodreads Reading Challenge. I was doing a series re-read of Kelley Armstrong's Cainsville series because I finally got the 3rd book. When I re-read the first book, Omens, I finished it and it updated the read date. I posted a review but it does not show up as a finished book in the reading challenge. Can I not count books that I re-read this year? I am a threat to re-read a series that I like so any information that you can give would be appreciated!

KK (kk567) | 20 comments I think I figured it out. It updated the read date when I changed the status to finished and posted a review but for some reason did not keep the new date. I had to go and manually change the date to show that I finished it yesterday. I guess I thought that was automatic!

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) You have to also remember to do different editions each time - this way it won't erase previous reads on challenge stats and your shelves

J Thank you for this! I plan on re-reading an entire, long series next year, and I was worried about keeping up with my challenge if I couldn't count them. I'll try doing a different edition for each book.

Amoreena | 66 comments I am doing the challenge also and found that if I marked the book as "currently reading" then marked it as "read" that it counted...but then I bought a Kindle and it auto added all of my books and I lost some in the count. Not sure what happened !
