A: Momotaro: Peach Boy
Q: Have you heard a similar version to this fairytale told from a different culture?
A: No, but I think I saw the pictures in another story or maybe a vdeo game story, I don't know...
Q: Do you think fairytales have an important role to play in each culture?
A: Yes. I think it is very important, specially to introduce to our children the reading world. In Brazil we have a lot of fairytales from aboriginal brazilian culture (like Iara Mermaid, Saci Pererê, Mula Sem Cabeça, etc)

They always hold some sort of message, and even if kids can't pick up on the message when they're younger, you're almost guaranteed to come back to the fairytales throughout your childhood.

Fearless girls, wise women & beloved sisters / Ragan
Have you heard a similar version to this fairytale told from a different culture?
It was a collection of fairytales. One of them, "I'm Tipingee, She's Tipingee, We're Tipingee, too" is reminiscent of "I'm Spartacus... no I'm Spartacus".
Do you think fairytales have an important role to play in each culture?
Absolutely, the early stories of any culture are vital to understand it. This book was about putting women at centre-stage. It was great to read these feminist tales.

Not that I can remember
-Do you think fairytales have an important role to play in each culture?
Yes. They can open your eyes to other ways of thinking and a lot of times they give hope to those that don't have much. They can also teach some good life lessons on how to act and treat others fairly.
