HELP with uploading an excerpt

I had uploaded an excerpt, then I realized a made an error on a page. So, I have fixed the error but now I'm not sure how to upload the file. The excerpt is there to read, but when I go to the page to edit it, it still says that it is pending. Can you help?

Deleted the upload, which should allow you to upload a new one.
