Garnell | 2 comments I have an almost completed paranormal erotic romance, around 70,000 words and I would be grateful for any time and expertise you can provide, although a full edit would be nice.

Thank you.

Shanta Nicole (writergirl) | 1 comments Hi, I just found your profile on Goodreads and I was wondering if you are still offering free editing. Wasn't sure if you just edit non-fiction. I have a completed fiction manuscript. It is a romance/suspense novel with an element of erotica.

I have written and rewritten numerous drafts and my sister and I have been working on the editing ourselves and I have tried to polish it as much as possible for my beta readers. I have two beta readers and am hoping for at least a couple more. This is a debut novel for me and so I want to put the best product out there that I can.

Links are down below for my FB author page and website. Please check it out if you are interested and let me know.

I would be interested in proofreading/copy editing and substantial, just to make sure it flows and has readability and correct use of punctuation and grammar.

Thanks so much!

Chris Sarantopoulos | 1 comments Hi,

Does the offer still stand? I have a complete manuscript (108k words, post-apocalyptic horror) currently in the hands of my betas.

As you can probably tell, English isn't my native language, so my work may require a little bit more work than the usual. I also use UK spelling. Are you ok with that? I should also point out that this is my debut novel, so that may require more work from your part.

I was interested in structural and story-related issues my novel may have (aside from anything else you may think is required).

Thank you very much for your time.

Chris

Lisa (lisagregory) | 1 comments Good morning,

I am about a month away from completing my first manuscript, which is a romance with a twist. I feel that my story is unique and different. I am interested in copy editing, but would appreciate any level of editing you would be able to offer. I understand your free offer has probably left you with a lot of projects, but I am hoping I could be added to your list. Thanks so much for your consideration, and best of luck in your new endeavor :)

John | 1 comments I do pray that your offer of free editing is still good. I am in the finishing stages of completing my work book that would accompany my nonfiction book “HEALTH WAKE UP CALL” A second chance at living. My book began as a health emergency that I experienced on a day I will never forget. I was airlifted from my home near Campbellsville, KY on February 19, 2015 to Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

My Non-fiction book is the path I went through from experiencing a near death experience and the trauma that went with it. I came to realize while lying in my hospital bed in Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center that my life had to change and change drastically. The medical team could not give me an answer as to why the incident had occurred. The EMS personnel that responded thought I was having a heart attack. After exhaustive tests a heart attack was ruled out. They said that they could not find the cause for the health emergency.

When I entered the hospital I weighed 278 pounds. I was diabetic with a blood sugar reading of 375 mg/dl. This is an extremely high reading. The nurse said part of the reading was caused by the stress. I was not paying any attention to my diet. I was extremely sedentary. I was not consuming enough fluid during the day. This was immediately apparent to me.

I have since had a drastic change in life style. I walk on a daily basis. I worked at the local warehouse of Amazon.com as a picker during Christmas season 2015. There were not many times that I would walk over 15 miles per night. I drastically changed my diet eliminating most carbohydrates. I also found a natural supplement that I obtain from Amazon.com that works better than the diabetic medication I was on. I no longer take the diabetic medication. I weigh about 235 pounds and my blood sugar is averaging about 135-140 mg/dl. I will have normal readings by this time next year. I have gone from wearing trousers with 44 waist size to a 38 inch waist size. I am living proof that you can beat diabetes.

Before I was discharged on February 20, 2015, I made a vow to myself and God. I am going to change and become a healthy individual. My change started before I left the hospital by accepting the responsibility of my in action toward my health.

I first started a very in depth study of health problems via the Internet. It was during this time that I became acquainted to the concept of wellness. I found that during my research, there were 12 different areas of wellness in my life that needed attention. In August of 2015 I came across a method of becoming a best seller on Amazon.com. This intrigued me and the book began its life. By the first of October the book first draft was written. The concept changed considerably from the time I first thought about writing a book. The major change was from writing a very large book with many many chapters to individual books. There will be a workbook for each book that will follow the first one.

I have found that writing the book is the easy part. Getting it professionally edited would help a great deal. I do not have the budget for professional editing. I live on my Social Security right now and there is nothing available for marketing, editing, and incidental costs. I have prayed that the Lord would show me a way. I believe that you are an answer to prayer.

The Book
About 60 pages
About 14000 words
Has gone through three of my revisions. Needs a good beta reader. Ready to go to Beta Reader
The Work Book
About 45 Pages
About 6,800 Words
Have three chapters to finish first draft. Will have first draft finished by March 21, 2016.
