Daniel (diaze) Hey, all.

I've never done a true buddy read, but sounds fun.

I like Mystery/thrillers, literary fiction, classics, pretty much anything. I have a ton of books and have plenty to choose from.

If you don't mind taking a rookie under your wing, let me know!

message 3: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) Hey, Susan.

I don't have that but can look for it. Message me with a other suggestions of books on your list if you want.

message 5: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) I see "The Son" on your TBR List. Do you have that book?

message 6: by ✨Susan✨ (new)

✨Susan✨ (suswelch) | 19 comments I do Audible so I can do errands and chores while reading/listening. The Son is on the top of my list. It is similar to a book that I was given years ago by a friend, Not Between Brothers when I first moved to Texas. One of the best books that stands out in my memory to date. One I think every Texan should read.
I've already posted for a buddy read for Gone Girl in two groups...if I don't get a response I would like to read, The Son.

message 7: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) Oh cool. I do audio too sometimes. How far along are you with Gone Girl?

message 8: by ✨Susan✨ (new)

✨Susan✨ (suswelch) | 19 comments Have not started it yet, waiting for response to the threads I posted today.

Have you read Jonathan Kellerman, Lee Child, Harlan Coben, or Linwood Barclay before?

message 10: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) I have never ready any Corben but have been meaning to. I have heard good things. What books do you have in mind?

message 11: by Holly (last edited Mar 28, 2014 04:33PM) (new)

Holly | 140 comments For Harlan Coben?

I have some of his Myron Bolitar series that I'd like to get to.

As far as Linwood Barclay, I have The Accident by Linwood Barclay .

Jonathan Kellerman: True Detectives by Jonathan Kellerman , Guilt (Alex Delaware, #28) by Jonathan Kellerman , The Conspiracy Club by Jonathan Kellerman , Twisted (Petra Connor, #2) by Jonathan Kellerman , The Butcher's Theater by Jonathan Kellerman

If you think you'd be interested in any of them, let me know. :)

message 12: by Sam (new)

Sam Arnold (samharnold) I could join in with a stand alone Harlan Coben novel. Have read all the Bolitar series so they are no good for me. Have just today finished Gone Girl so wish I had seen this thread earlier.

message 13: by Angie (new)

Angie | 623 comments I've never read any Harlan Coben yet either, but I'd like to try some. When you guys decide which you're going to read I'll join in. I love joining in with buddy reads now, I find that it broadens the kind of books I read.

If you do THE SON let me know please. I read it last summer in an environment that just wasn't conducive to pleasurable reading. But, I'd like to read it again.
