Anybody read her new book, Yoga for Life? If so, do you recommend it?

Elizabeth (elizabethschindelar) | 11 comments The" first lady of yoga" has written a candid personal memoir with beautiful sequences that address the trials and tribulations of her (and my and your) life. Self-esteem, mothering, detoxing, divorce, what our parents passed along to us, alienation, boredom.. something for everyone to relate to in this book. BUT she manages to come off as unpretentious AND inspiring at the same time. I was not expecting this because Colleen is a super model marry to Rodney Yee (shame on me for judging) Great, well written book. I'm sure that you'll learn something from it.

I have not read it, but just visited Colleen's studio Shakti Yoga when I was in NYC a few weeks ago. I took a class called Urban Zen which was beyond lovely. The studio had an authentic vibe, which it sounds like comes through in her book. Will add to my reading list!

Thanks, Elizabeth! Sounds great. Maybe a good book for a group read sometime.
