Due to a lot of inconsistencies in the Buzzfeed's Rory Gilmore's 339 Books list, we will no longer be using that version.

Books this group reads...
-The voted choice book: Members suggest up to 3 titles they would like to read from the list in the suggestions thread for that month and a poll will be created using the books nominated the most. All members can vote in the poll and the winner of the poll will be our group read book for the month. Please make sure to use the Black White and Read books list when suggesting titles and to double check that the group hasn't already read the book by looking at the bookshelf.
-Re-Reads: Since we've gotten a lot of new members several members are wishing to re-read books that have already been read. Each quarter (Jan 1-March 31, April 1-June 30, July 1-September 30, and October 1- December 31) we will read a book that has already been read in this group. This is a great chance to also revisit some of the longer books you may not have had a chance to finish. The month before the start of each quarter, members will nominate up to 3 titles that have already been read on the nomination/suggestions thread with the Monthly Voted Choice. That month there will be 2 polls (the voted choice and the re-read quarterly choice).
Discussions range from a variety of questions, chats, and ongoing chatter about the book. Each book has a discussion leader. You can sign up to be a discussion leader on this thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
This group relies on having discussion leaders! If we don't have a discussion leader I will lead the discussion, but it will be of an open discussion type forum instead of question based.

I highly encourage any and all members to start threads about whatever topics you want to discuss (Gilmore Girls or not)! I am looking forward to being able to talk with everyone!
