Alexander Holbrook | 7 comments Is there a unique style of writer or reader in a town or city, province or state, religion or ethnicity near you?

I am privileged to be in Northern England and to experience a reinvention of Southern Gothic (ironically) through our Social Realist tradition.

Are there any such similar transmutations taking place that you know of?

Lenita Sheridan | 1010 comments My hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska has much influence on my writing. I set the two female protagonists in the snowy kingdom of Harroway. As a reader, I tend to like books about people in cold climates as in Selah J. Tay-Song's Dream of a Vast Blue Cavern.
