Jordan In the book White Fang by Jack London, the story is told through the perspective of Grey Cub. The way london weaves the point of view between Grey Cub and She-wolf adds to the suspense and flow of the story as a whole.

Mayor McCheese this was written a long time ago. definitely superficial and stereotypical characters. lots of superlatives. still, an interesting overall story of a dog and a good book if you are a dog lover.

Soumyadip Das A vivid description of nature, love and life, both in human and animal form...it was one of the first books my mom read to me when I was a kid...but I have got back to it several times till date...just to have that great feeling again and again...ps. the movie does not do justice to the literature.

Tania I am in love with this book.
London describes everything like he's actually standing there beside the character experiencing evrything he does.
Its fascinating to read

Coalpelt it's good, jack London really has a great way of writing what's in White Fang's head

BookReader I am currently on page 85 of the book, and so far I have mixed sentiments about this book. At the start, I believed that the plot was a bit boring and also confusing. I think that towards the middle but still a little bit in the start, the plot was more interesting and I liked it. The part that I am currently in does not please me because I am a dog lover and they are not treating White Fang well and a string of events happen from there. I am only reading this book for summer reading, so read it if you want to or not. I don't necessarily understand why everyone likes this book so much. I don't.

Angie I read this book and later retell it to my dogs. This book has made me want to be a better owner to them.

Stan I found this book to be very interesting. I really like wolves, so that was also an attraction to the book. While the book is about wolves, it goes much deeper than that. It is highly doubtful that dogs and wolves have such thought processes. London is really arguing about the nature of development - are we formed by nature or nurture? And, he correctly shows that a combination of both make us who we are. There is also a spiritual element to the story when London refers to humans as the "gods" of the dogs. He describes both good and bad gods, from the dogs perspective, but he hits on spiritual truth when describing the love-master as opposed to the bad gods. It is a great story on many levels!

Aleksandra I listened to 'White Fang' as an audiobook, which is perhaps why I can't remember the details, but it did warm my heart and made me think about wolves differently. It's unique because it's written from the perspective of a dog/wolf. It describes how animals look after their children and also how cruel humans can be to animals. Really recommend it, as I don't think books like this one are written anymore.
