A teen book series about a red-haired girl (I think her name was Jessica, or Jennifer, or something like that) who has to search all across the world to find four mystical objects-amulets, I believe- in various ancient ruins. Each of the amulets had powers of a different element- fire, water, earth, and air. One of them, I think, either the water or fire amulet, was in Jerusalem. The covers, if I remember right, all had pictures of the girl, along with vibrant colors symbolizing the element of that book: red, blue, white, and green.

Could they have been "boards" of the elements? "The board of wind" and such? I don't remember the name of the series, but I remember the boards thing because boards are such a weird magical item to be seeking, and the rest of my memory of the series matches. If that seems familiar to you I'll wrack my brains and maybe the titles will come back to me.
