Tigerstar: is he really that bad?

As I was reading this series (along with the other two), I noticed that Tigerstar had a lot of strengths. He may have tried to take over, but Tigerstar did good things too. He was a father, he helped train Firestar, and he fought bravely in every battle. If all of this is true, why does everyone take him as a really bad cat? Is Tigerstar really that bad? Or are we only seeing the outer layer of his life, the evil part?

I think that Tigerstar is completely evil. I think he was evil from the start when he was kitted. He is definitely evil and cruel. No offense to you Felicity. but anyway, i have my tastes and i have mine. I wont try to convince you. He probably tricked Goldenflower into loving him you know? He might have been trying to gain his clan's trust so when he killed Bluestar, no one would suspect it. He had that fatherly thing to his kits because he thought they would be so strong and like him if he trained them to hate. If they followed him, they together would be the most powerful cats in the forest and then take over. Tigerstar helped train Firepaw because he had to of two reasons. One, he needed to follow Bluestar's orders. Because if he didn't, that would seem fishy wouldn't it?
Two, if he would train, TWO apprentices, there would be a great and big motive for him to become deputy. Also, he didn't know of who Firepaw would become when he turned into a warrior. He fought bravely in every battle was because that was his only instinct. To kill. If he fought bravely he would get all the respect and admiration and even more trust. I think that Tigerstar is the most evil cat in the whole book.
But he was my favorite evil villain though! He is a great character. I can see why you like him. I kind of do too.
Say, do you know how i can get into a book group? I want to join the StarClan group but I don't know how.
I actually think Tigerstar is one of my favorite characters! Even though he's evil, he still is really strong and he has made up some really good fightning techniques! He somewhat cares about his clan. He tried to help his children in a "evil sort of way." But he was still trying to help his children in his own weird way. I kind of like this kind of character, with good, and bad. I don't like Firestar...he's just pure good, and that makes a character boring.

Firestar is evil and did his best to kill Firestar. I personally don't like Firestar, and think he should die soon, but that's just me. I don't like Tigerstar either.
I think TigerStar had SOME good intentions, but he was mostly evil. He did try to kill FireStar! TigerStar is important to the series, though, and I think it wouldn't have been as good without him.

Tigerstar seemed evil. I think no one really wanted to litsen to him. So, he made seem worse then they really could've been. He looked evil and might've killed Redtail, but he became leader of ShadowClan and he was still loyal to ThunderClan after he was baninshed, just didn't act like it.

Not to offend anyone, but in real life, even a serial killer wasnt born one. He was made. Like pretty much everyone else. We are born with a certain temper, but we must build up our character. If we read everything that happended in his life we would probably understand him. And I think we see everything through our moral values. Like Im pretty sure that Osama bin Laden was a hero for some. U feel me?
He is evil but i feel kind of bad for him like he was probably scarred for life or something as a kit or he has a 'mental illness'P.S if he wasen't evil/crazy he would be a GREAT leader

Hawkfrost can hurt alot more than just a fly. just look at his poor sister. he even would have killed Firestar if Brambleclaw hadn't killed Hawkfrost
