What are you doing to keep up your stamina and energy through the readathon? Are you taking breaks - having energy snacks - taking a brief walk - taking a shower - getting a quick nap in like Winston Churchill - eating supper - or just resting your eyes?

Share some of your tips for increasing your stamina during readathons and staying focused.

We can all learn from each other - energy drinks - smoothies - coffee - what are your secrets?

Teri (teriboop) Resting the eyes for sure. Taking a break to watch a little TV or playing music and dancing (like no one's watching), take a dip in the hot tub.

I was very tired this time - with the travel - you get jet lagged and it takes you awhile to get back in the swing of things - and of course my father and traveling up for him - so I have been standing up, drinking plenty of fluids, eating cold stuff - that seems for some reason to wake me up at night. Hot things make me more sleepy when it is late but things that are cold like ice cream or sorbet or ices seem to do the trick. And cold sparkling water.
