I am looking forward to this one. I have been in a bit of a slump but I really liked book 1 and hope 2 is just as interesting.

I am so ready. already 10 chapters in. had to force myself to stop reading as I must sleep. will post thoughts in the am.

Sounds good. I am alternating every five chapters between thos one and three oyhers so I may go slow. sadly I had to put it nack on the bottom of the pile. hopefully I can get to it again tomorrow.

Slow sounds good. I am 15 chapters in. Lots of action and excitement so far. I stopped in a tense situation and wish I could read more but will move onto something else for the time being.

Wow that scene when Max was shot was intense. I'm wondering why they tried to take those kids with them after they got the kale.

I hope Alex's parents are okay.

I am going to be picking up the pace on this one since I finished most of the others I was reading. I stopped after chapter 20.

Wow, there has been so much excitement in such a short time. I felt (view spoiler)[ the chase was a bit long but I am glad they managed to evade the bad guys. (hide spoiler)]

Darla(view spoiler)[ I hope she is okay, not sure how they are going to continue on without any supplies but honestly, I saw it coming based on how often they lost all their supplies during the last book. When his aunt and uncle gave them so much, part of me felt they would be better leaving it behind since it probably would be long until it was gone. (hide spoiler)]

Still haven't read more yet. I'm visiting my grandma this weekend and probably won't be able to be online. I'll post when I get back.

I just finished chapter 70. I haven't liked the direction things have been going for a while.

Darla (view spoiler)[ I hate that it didn't split perspective. She has been gone for so long! I am so worried and can't stop thinking about all of the horrific things that could be happening to hear. This book really allows you to get in Alex's mind and imagine how he feels. I am disappointed in his parents. (hide spoiler)]

So good! But horrifying and heart breaking and disturbing but so good.

I'm just so behind everyone else. It's frustrating! So much to read and so little time.

Nah, you are just reading different ones. You have read so many that I haven't read yet.

Really? I haven't even read an entire book in April yet. Actually I think I read ONE. Lol

Hmm...my reading was down at the end of March and is slow going this month too. Hopefully you find a book that grips you and perhaps it will get you back in the swing of things?

It's a matter of how busy I've been is all. I'm not in a reading slump. I just need some time!
