Tenacious | 3 comments Trying to find a book, all I have to go on is the description a friend of mine gave me. It's about a man who loves a woman but ends up keeping her in a kind of snow globe possibly by shrinking her. He starts providing her with everything she needs, including a man. I think they might not even realise they're in a glass ball. They have a child together and the first guy sends miniature gifts for the baby. He eventually dies of a heart attack and so can't send supplies to the woman anymore. That's pretty much all I have to go on. Any help would be greatly appreciated :) thank you.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments This sounds so familiar. Do you think it could have been a short story?

Do you know when this book was published? Or, how many years ago you heard about the book?

Tenacious | 3 comments I have no idea. I literally only heard about it yesterday whilst discussing books with a friend of mine. She pretty much only gave me this to go on. She wasn't even sure herself if it was a real book or just something random she had read somewhere. Possibly a short story I don't know. The way she described it was better but these where the main plot points that she could remember. Would be nice to find out what it is as she really wants to read it again, whatever it was.

The Dragon in the Woods (self-published) features a "damsel" who has been trapped in a snow globe for 35 years by a wizard.

Tenacious | 3 comments hmmm, nope doesn't seem to be either of those. Thanks for the suggestions though :)

Library Lady 📚 | 56 comments There's a short scene in Coraline where something like this happens.

Tenacious, are you still looking for this? Was it Lena's or Holly's suggestion?
