Oh my. Can we read this on the 8th? What is wrong with me? Haha lol my buddy reads is so many and I don't want them to overlap. If that's okay with ya :)
Hahaha, no worries. yes we can read it on 8th but then are we still going to read Cinder on 7th? I don't think I can finish Cinder in a day, though :D
On right. Let's not read Cinder on the 7th then. (I also have a buddy read for 7th, I am seriously frustrating I know) :)
Hahaha, I know how you feel. I don't mind if we reschedule Cinder for indefinite time. I guess we're just too excited with April challenge we feel like we can read all of books we have. Well...at least I feel that way :D
Yes, I would love to read more books. I only read 5 books so far this month while I read 20 books on February. So yeah...I can't wait for April :D Have you rrad Walters other books, Find You in the Dark series? I love it!

Not yet! This is going to be the first. Wow. I'll make sure that I'll get to read them soon if it is thaat good :)
I love reading story about mental illness. I think Find You in the Dark is one of the best YA mental illness story I've read. The way Walters wrote it felt real. When I knew she has a new book and also about mental illness, I knew I should read it soon :D
This story is about mental illness? I also loved books that felt real to you. Those ones that get hold of your feelings, like you couldn't possibly imagine someone not loving them like you do :)
Yes, exactly! Hmm... I think Asperger's can be categorize as mental illness? But now I'm not sure about it.
Hahaha, I think that's okay. Well...I don't mind we chat in this thread as long as it relates to the book :)I don't know much about Asperger's but it's quite similar autism, I think. That's why I think it's one of mental illness. If you ever read A Song for Julia by Charles Sheehan-Miles, you can find about Asperger there.
Since I'm on my phone now, I'll change the date later :)
haha yes. I haven't heard about that book though. Okay. I think I'll go out of my normal reading zones because I'm really just reading same genres again and again. Like YA paranormal and fantasy. I'm reading realistic this week :)
I like paranormal and am a fan of fantasy but I tend to take turn genre I read to avoid the boredom :DI've changed to date, by the way.
It's already April 8th in my country. Are you still want to buddy read it, Margarita? I'm going to read it soon but I'll take it slowly since I'm not feeling well now.
Finished it yesterday. Now I'm wondering whether you're busy or you have a lot of buddy read at April 8th. Either way, I'll still discuss it with you when you read it.
Margarita wrote: "Rachmi! I read it on April 8th but was not here on GR because I was so busy. T.T[spoilers removed]"
Yeah, in the end I think I can love Ellie :D I hope there's a sequel since I'm curious of what they life would be, but in the blurb it says it's a standalone.
How many stars will you give it? I gave it 3.5 stars and am kinda hard to decide between round it up or down, but then I chose to round it up :D

Tormenter and tormented.
Villain and hero.
Ellie McCallum was a bully. No connection to anyone or anything. A sad and lonely existence for a young woman who had come to expect nothing more for herself. Her only happiness coming from making others miserable.
Particularly Freaky Flynn.
Flynn Hendrick lived a life completely disconnected even as he struggled to become something more than that boy with Asperger's. He was taunted and teased, bearing the brunt of systematic and calculated cruelty, ultimately culminating in a catastrophic turn of events that brought Ellie and Flynn’s worlds crashing down.
But then Flynn and Ellie grew up.
And moved on.
Until years later when their paths unexpectedly cross again and the bully and the freak are face to face once more.
When labels come to define you, finding yourself feels impossible. Particularly for two people disconnected from the world who inexplicably find a connection in each other.
And out of the wreckage of their tragic beginnings, an unlikely love story unfolds.
But a painful past doesn’t always want to let go. And old wounds are never truly healed…and sometimes the further you try to run from yourself the closer you come to who you really are.
Everyone is welcome to read this book with me and Margarita on April 5th! :)
