Angel | 26 comments This was a book that I read a long time ago, so I'm struggling to come up with much detail about it. I know that the main characters are rabbits and I think wolves come into it somewhere also. A wolf might be among the main characters, I'm not sure. Any suggestions you can give me would be great!

Krista the Krazy Kataloguer (kristathekrazykataloguer) | 104 comments Was this an adult or a children's book? Novel or picture book?

Could it have been one of the Mossflower series by Brian Jacques?

Angel | 26 comments It may have been teen or young adult. It definately wasn't a picture book.

message 6: by Angel (new)

Angel | 26 comments It looks so cute, but it wasn't a picture book.

Krista the Krazy Kataloguer (kristathekrazykataloguer) | 104 comments Was it Rabbit Hill by Robert Lawson? That's an old classic I read as a child. Here is the summary from our library catalog: "New folks are coming to live in the Big House. The animals of Rabbit Hill wonder if they will plant a garden and thus be good providers."

Angel | 26 comments No, I don't think thats it...But thanks!

message 9: by Angel (new)

Angel | 26 comments Its possible, but as far as I can recall I've only ever read one of Brian Jacques and it was about an otter.

message 10: by Angel (new)

Angel | 26 comments No, I think the age group was older than that.

message 11: by Cb (new)

Cb | 6 comments I know there have been other Brian Jacques suggestions, but several of his novels did feature hares and were young adult/adult. One that focused on them was I think The Long Patrol. Don't know if this is it, as they are hares, not rabbits...

Foxglove Hollow

Cheryl (cherylllr) A Taste For Rabbit looks interesting, but I would consider 2007 to be recent, rather than "a long time ago." Angel, what does "a long time ago" mean to you?

CaptKirk42 Classic Whovian (klandersen) | 21 comments Could it be one of the books by Beatrix Potter?

bookel | 4018 comments Maybe one of the Colin Dann books such as this?
In the Path of the Storm (Animals of Farthing Wood #6).

message 21: by Angel (new)

Angel | 26 comments Wow, sorry. Its been awhile since I was on goodreads and I forgot that I had written this. I looked through all of the suggestions and none of them are what I'm looking for. It had to have been between 10-15 years ago now. It took place in the woods. It wasn't anything like Beatrix Potter, if I remember right there was a darker element to it. There were definitely wolves and rabbits. I don't believe humans were involved.

Perloo The Bold by Avi, maybe?

ETA: I actually feel pretty good about this guess. Looking back at this book it is about rabbity and wolflike critters.
