Folks for today's readathon - this is the chat room.

Readathon day is here and we are in the midst of it.

This is a place where anybody can chat about anything that is on your mind or if you just want to take a break and talk with your fellow readathoners.

How are you doing Samanta and Doris - are you drinking enough liquids - water, juice, coffee, tea? Important to stay hydrated.

I am getting pretty hungry and may need an early snack. (smile).

I'm good, Already had my dose of fresh orange juice (squeezed the oranges myself) and am trying to have a large breakfast so as not to eat too much as the day/night progresses. I have some lavender and sage juice on the ready for the day.

The lavender and sage juice sound very nice - a large breakfast is a good idea if it has a lot of protein - carbs make you sleepy sometime - at least they do me.

I have not had breakfast yet - and I am having some waffles and a nice cup of coffee. Sounds like you are thinking of breakfast too or just had it Teri

Lunch time for me....chicken soup :)

Goodness Samanta - I have not even had time for breakfast.

No wonder. If I'm not mistaken you've been here since my 8 a.m. It's 4 p.m. here and during workdays I usually have lunch around noon, so this is late for me.

I know - the readathons take a lot of prep time and having had a busy week - I had to do it all in one fell swoop.

It's cloudy and cool here in my neck of the woods so oatmeal fit the bill for breakfast. I will be dipping in and out of the readathon today since there are errands to be run.
