Need some help :-)

A new author from our thriller group asked to add his new book (will be released in January). Since I havent found any other Graham Potts in the library I just added the book the usual way and wanted to ask later what to do next since he was 'just' a member up to now and had a simple member profile page.

Only as soon as I entered the book plus the ebook did I realise there is another Graham Potts and this book was automatically linked to his profile.

Could someone with more experience helpe and explain how do do it next time better entering a book for a new author? Than would be really great.

The cover he / the publisher provided didn't work so I'm writing just now asking him to send some jpg-files so I can finish the entry.

Moved his book to a new author profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
That was done by adding an extra space between first and last name.
He can claim the profile by following this link: https://www.goodreads.com/author/conf...
which is also located at the bottom of the author page.
Claiming the profile will merge his user profile into the author profile.

Thank you very much. I never created an authors profile so have no idea how to do it yet but you can't learn it all at once :-)
