Authors with an easy style

I mean I'm from Spain and althought I have read some authors in English, Laird Barron, Karl Edward Wagner or Joe R Lansdale I still feel lost sometimes during the reading, specially when I read a word I don't know or a structure I don't understand, it's really frustrating... so, can you suggest me a good horror author but with and easy to read style?

Hey, Francisco. You ever read Richard Laymon? He's very accessible and a master of pacing. If you haven't checked him out, I think you'd really enjoy his stuff.

Some of his novels are translated to Spanish, I was thinking of reading Island in English.

Definitely agree with Jonathan about Richard Laymon, that's the first name to pop in my head as well. I also think Brian Keene's work reads easily, as well as Ray Garton.

But the thing is that all his books have been translated to Spanish, very bad translated by the way, a friend who read the originals said to me that in the translation to Spanish you lost the 60% of the horror effect

William Meikle, Edward Lorn, Adam Cesare, and Ania Ahlborn come to mind as particularly good with easy to read smooth styles.
