Could you delete this edition of The Stolen Cigar Case by Bret Harte and move the reviews to the other edition (The Stolen Cigar-Case), please?

It hasn't got any real details in it, no ISBN or ASIN etc and didn't even have the correct author name until I fixed that and combined it with The Stolen Cigar-Case, which has details and a cover image.

I am a bit unclear about merging and deleting. I usually update, correct or create new Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian language entries. :) But duplicate insanity is seeping through in smaller languages too. (In case you wonder those three languages used to be one and the same some 25 years ago)

Dragana, rivka writes in the first message: "For editions to be merged with something other than the work default, please remember to separate out the two editions for merging before posting in this thread."

If you feel uncomfortable about separating, please give links to both the edition to be merged and the edition it should be merged with (I could have sworn I saw another post by you with both links, but I can't find it anymore).

Agnieszka, to make it easier on the supers the duplicates should be combined with each other. And some (most?) of them can be merged by any librarian.

The last time I combined them I was asked to let it be. It's so confusing when I do it according to the LM and than am asked to let it be I thing it was changed.

The supers are able to make the request them selves.

Adding more comments to a thread that are not relevant does not make the thread easy to manage and more likely for items to get missed

Hello! Could someone please delete a rogue edition of one of the books showing up under my author name. Someone added an edition of "Trapped in Whittier," with no cover and only the title, whereas I have a complete listing (combining a few editions of the book) for "Trapped in Whittier" already listed under my name.

Just noticed that someone rated it and must have added the book without checking to see that it was already there. Here is the link to her addition.

Merged the empty edition of Trapped in Whittier with the complete edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... which was difficult to find because the title was incomplete. Corrected the title to match the cover.

There was an error in the large version of the cover, not showing on the book page. Re-added the same cover. The covers are not identical. Only when the text at the bottom of the page is a booksellers logo, they can be merged; otherwise it has to stay.
