Problem is, I'm not really in the mood for it *sigh*

Are you reading Narnia or should I start Nightingale (blue & bronze)?"

I'd rather go with Narnia. :) Looks like my library has right editions. Aaaand it's second in series! *woohoo*

Edit: Hm, looks like I already have right edition at home. Someone switched covers on GR so now my edition had blue cover :P

Sorry I've been quiet the last few days. In a bit of a reading slump, hopefully it'll pick up again soon though, especially since my shifts seem to be arranged so I don't have to work much this week.

Going to start book 201 on my TBR shelf - True Betrayals

message 1415: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) I had a horrible work day yesterday which majorly cut into my reading last night and today, everyone at work is all about Powerball! Don't they know I have GR to do??

message 1416: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments I was without internet so I spent my time reading :P

Oh and we finished second January mini challenge too! Well done team!
Now back to reading, we almost emptied out our unused books :)

message 1417: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments Powerball?

message 1418: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) ❀Tea❀ wrote: "Powerball?"

The lottery. It's up to $1.8 billion for the winner so my office wanted to go in on tickets. They really think we are going to win some money. I said, yeah, the $4 you get for hitting one number. They are already spending their non-existent money in their heads. I'm just like, can't I just do my work or go home and read? Thanks.

message 1419: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments But just think how many books you could buy! :)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) ❀Tea❀ wrote: "But just think how many books you could buy! :)"

SO MANY! Although, after paying off my college loans, I'd probably have like $20 left so maybe not ALL the books ;)

message 1421: by April (new)

April | 200 comments I had a pretty bad week last week at work.

Watching you too fill in challenges like a tennis match was keeping me going.

Can't say I haven't spend Powerball money in my head. Thinking about finally buying a ticket

message 1422: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments I wish I saw that X-title goal sooner. I'd read different X for mini challenge.

Anyone doing that one?

The lines are crazy! I imagine they'll get worse as it gets closer to tomorrow. We bought 26 tickets here at work between 4 people. 1 for each Powerball so we are guaranteed to win $4. Which means I'll spend my $1 on a soda :)

I could go for fruit and/or dress. And I'd need to do more checking to see if I have 24th

Nope. Most of the book was normal thriller but there were some really sad parts with the little boy and his family. I tell you first horror novel that made me cry.
