yeah this is terrible! I searched my kindle and found nothing.

I've already read it, but I thought it was really good and interesting if anyone else has it on their TBR. I also recommend the audio.

I read that but we used it for a different goal.

How do you search your whole Kindle?"
Just go to the home page of books and click the search icon. Type in the word and it will search all the titles AND the text.

OMG I love you. I was searching each book individually and gave up (this was a while ago) and haven't tried since. THANK YOU.

Once it comes up with the results you need to look at the individual book results to make sure that it has the exact word or phrase you are searching for. It also puts various forms of the word in the search results as well. That being said it is a God send in times like this.
A lot of my books are not in my kindle but a couple of thousand are.

Read a book where a character has more than one lover"
At the same time?

That's what I'm trying to find out now.

Okey doke. So we definitely have a book for it either way. I'll report back soon.

Read a book with the word soldier, army, war or battle (plurals are acceptable) in the title

How do you search your whole Kindle?"
That's only thing I don't like with my reader - it doesn't have search function outside of book. Not that I needed that before this :)
I'm still opening each book and searching. *sigh*

- Read a book where a character is an undertaker
- Read a book where the cover shows someone swimming
- Read a book that contains the word chlorophyll
- Read a book with the word soldier, army, war or battle (plurals are acceptable) in the title
- Read a book where the author uses a suffix (Jr, Sr., III)
- Day 12: Read a book that has elves, reindeer or a sleigh on the cover or in title
- Day 15: Read a book that has a religious theme
- Day 16: Read a book with Christmas Decorations/Lights on the cover
- Day 17: Read a book where Christmas is spent on the beach or under real warm weather for 10 points!
- Day 18: Read a book where the title has a Song Title from one of the lists below for 10 points!

I'm reading a book with chlorophyll now. :-)

I was so surprised that I found it, that I had to read the book :-)

hm, both?
You have 3 friends and each book is about one of them. In theory they are not connected, but all characters from previous books show up so you'll know what happened (not that it's hard to guess :P)

Thanks. Stacie is reading for that clue so I'll keep that in mind for later.

Yes yes we do. I'm having fun reading all these Christmas stories :-)

I'm not yet reading so go ahead. I'm working on Christmas in the tropics.

Read a book where the page numbers add to 3 (i.e. 345 pages = 3+4+5 = 12)
Used Nicole's Sacked
Read a book where the page numbers add to 8 (i.e. 345 pages = 3+4+5=12)
Used Rebecca S's Career of Evil
Read a book where a character gives birth
Used Stacie's The Thorn Birds
NEW GOAL
Sort your "to read" shelf by 'date added' and read a book that is within Numbers 1-50 on your list (the first column before the book cover image)

I'm confused, do you mean read one of the first 50 books after you sort or a book with a number from 1 to 50 listed in that first column?

Number from 1 to 50 in the first column.

Could you update the goals list here? It is still showing as open.

To be honest I'm also confused. It doesn't make sense to sort by one and then totally ignore it and read by another column.
If you don't want to think and try to sort it out, I can take that one. I have only 49 books on my to-read shelf so no problem with sorting and figuring out by which column to pick :P
