I finished book for that one. Just didn't have opportunity to update it.

- Read a book where a character is an undertaker

- Read a book where the cover shows someone swimming

- Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as japan - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable

- Read a book with a interjection in the title

- Read a book where the author uses a suffix (Jr, Sr., III)

- Day 12: Read a book that has elves, reindeer or a sleigh on the cover or in title

- Day 15: Read a book that has a religious theme

- Day 16: Read a book with Christmas Decorations/Lights on the cover

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) Day 14: Read a book that has a religious theme for 10 points!

I will start People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks tomorrow for this! Finally a goal I can do!

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as sci-fi - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable

Using A Token of Time

Read a book where a character's first name starts with the letter V

Using This Side of the Grave

NEW GOAL
Read a book with minions (Like a vampire who has a seethe, or a person who uses zombies to do their evil bidding)

(from FAQ: evil solders / army ok, but must be evil or have evil leader)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments We have another boon expiring on Saturday.

Any wishes regarding goals?
My suggestions are undertaker (because it been here long) or interjection (I didn't notice anyone mentioning having book for it)

So this is a SUPER stretch but I'm reading The Tudor Secret and there are definitely conniving lords / higher ups who send others to do their evil bidding.

message 914: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments Rebecca,

The Secret Keeper on your challenge shelf doesn't have read date so spreadsheet doesn't pick it up.
I think you might have two different editions shelved.

message 915: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) My vote is for undertaker.

message 916: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca (rebeccasg) | 3799 comments That's very strange. I think I fixed it.

message 918: by Nicole B (new)

Nicole B | 185 comments Query about the minion goal: Do they need names or can they be nameless? As in evil person has sent people to kill MC but failed and they die so we don't know their names.

message 919: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments RebeccaS wrote: "That's very strange. I think I fixed it."

It works now. Thanks :)

I know that when I add book or tag it somehow from app it usually goes with default edition no matter what I already have on shelves.

No, minions don't need to have names.

message 921: by Nicole B (new)

Nicole B | 185 comments Halfway to the Grave might work then because the vampire (Hennessey) uses minions to kidnap/kill people and attempts in on MC.

message 932: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9625 comments Finally found (shortish) book with water in the title. Looks like most of titles I have with water-themed words have sea in them - only word we don't need :)

NEW GOAL

*needs checking books first. I'll get to it later if someone doesn't beat me to it*

message 937: by Stacie (new)

Stacie (thesebooksaremyfriends) From what I can tell, we don't have a book matching japan or any variation as of yet. Still searching but it's not looking promising.

I'm reading Scion of Cyador for suffix at the moment, but will take me 2-3 days to finish depending on how work goes this weekend (joy of being at the mercy of my mobile for 48 hours straight!)

Have lost track of goals so I'm not too bothered what we boon

Congrats Nicole that's awesome news - hope the next stages go as well!
