It was a no, not surprised with the answer but thought it was worth a shot asking

message 502: by Dragana (new)

Dragana (diaryofthebookdragon) It was worth a chance. I read two books, maybe they will fit some goals. I'll try to enter them as soon as my kid lets me. He has been extra cranky these last couple of days.

2nd goal for 25 Days of TT is:

Read a book with cookies on the cover for 10 points.

Books for this goal have to be started 12/3/2015 or later.

I'm reading a book with a red cover right now, so the first goal will be taken care of.

We have every category filled for the Norse Teams Mini challenge. We can still get points for each book we complete up through 12/15, but we have the bonus points for completing everything.

Good job Team :)

Just letting you know that I'll be away for next 10 days. Karsyn (and other mods) will be here to help if you need it. I won't have internet connection so I won't be able to do anything until I get back.

Be good while I'm gone :)

Found the book I want to read that works for current goals. (Yay!) So, I'm going to read A Dirty Job (Grim Reaper, #1) by Christopher Moore next.

It should, I'd say the French Revolution was a real event :)

I won't be near an actual computer until late this evening. I'm spending the day with my cousin and her 3 year old triplets. Should be an exhaustingly fun day :)

Only books read on 12/5 or later can count for this goal.

message 522: by [deleted user] (new)

I've just finished Vanishing Girls. I'm not sure if it fits the facial feature goal. If not, I got another book at hand that I can read for that goal :)

I don't think Vanishing Girls will work for that goal. It needs to have the facial feature word in the title of the book. But if you have another on hand that will work, that's excellent!

I think my favorite read for TT is The Paper Swan. I read it specifically to meet a TT goal and the book completely surprised me.

I had bad luck picking contemporaries for TT and very good luck with fantasy.
I liked Warbreaker the most, although since it's chuky fantasy it might not be for anyone.
Honorable mentions are: Soulless (funny and cute, great for pnr and hr fans) & Sweep in Peace (fun and complex uf).

Actually, it won't. I did some poking around and remembered I have the Barbara Kingsolver book:

Pigs in Heaven (Greer Family, #2) by Barbara Kingsolver which has a bunch of pigs on the cover.

Did some more poking around . . .

Used: Rainbow's End read by me for top shelf of random.

New goal: Read a book where characters go to the movies

Let Imke/Dragana/me know if one of the goalless books meets this goal, it's hard to tell if one of them will work from the information we have on the goalless tab.

Karsyn (imzadi) Sorry I was the one to see it. I'm the strict one of the group, so I said no. You can definitely ask one of the others. I think that since the characters have to go out for the show/exhibit/museum, then it's the same for the theater. Sorry!

Nice!

Would Grisha Fabrikators be considered tradesmen? They make and build things. Craft them from raw materials and magic. They do a lot of that in the 3rd book in the series (Ruin & Rising) which is goalless right now.

Thoughts?

I haven't read it, so I don't know. There's a definition on the link, with an example. If they make/produce something, than it sounds like it will work.
