It occurred to me that we should have a place for people to suggest Doctor Who books that they would like the Book Club to tackle. While we're going to be focusing on books that have been reviewed on the podcast for the foreseeable future, I will keep a list of anything people suggest in this thread and I'll use those suggestions to create future polls.

It would also be helpful, though not required, if you provide a link to the title within Goodreads using the "Add Book/Author" tool just above the comment box. That way, people can go directly to that book's Goodreads page and read about it and add it to their "Want to Read" list if they would like to. For example, one of my favorite Doctor Who books is Beautiful Chaos.

Ben Reed | 96 comments I'd like to suggest Last of the Gaderene. It was next of Doctor Who books I want to read.

Michael Silver | 3 comments To piggy back on the last suggestion, I'd like to do a few of the re-issue books. Since they are available to all for the most part.

I think it would also be neat if we could talk about some of(auto)biographies of the actors, show runners, writers, etc etc

Glenn | 62 comments I hope we can eventually get to Cold Fusion and Lungbarrow. It's my understanding that the latter really digs deep into the mythos of the Doctor and his history, albeit not exactly canonical. I'm not sure what their status is as far as whether or not they are in-print at this stage, however.

Thedoctor Withrosetyler | 8 comments July 31st the new War Doctor BBC novel comes out! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Doctor-Who-En... Should definitely be our August book!

message 8: by Josh (new)

Josh | 22 comments I'm curious to read that War Doctor book too, though finances mean I'd have to wait at least till it reaches the second hand market. I wonder if this is a sign there might be an 8th Doctor time war book on the horizon too

The War Doctor book sounds awesome! I don't know that we'll read it as soon as August for the book club, but it's definitely going on the list!

Amanda Kendall (_pochemuchka_) | 31 comments The Torchwood book are a good option, too. Some of them are really good.

message 11: by Mike (new)

Mike | 8 comments I would like to suggest the Doctor Who novel by accomplished sci if author Alastair Reynolds. The Harvest of Time has had great reviews and takes us back to the early years of the third Doctor. I for one can't wait to read this

Lara (laraiswrite) Have you guys done Nothing O'Clock by Neil Gaiman yet? I have it on my Kindle and have been wanting to read it. Thought I'd throw it out there for this group. =p

I don't know about the book club...but we will tackle that story in November for the podcast.
