SOLVED. A YA book about a car crash near a lake

Hello, I don't remember much about this book! It's a young adult novel. It has thriller and romance elements. I think it starts with a car crash near a lake. The protagonist is a girl and she is in a car with her friends and they flash a group of boys in another car. I think the boys get distracted and crash their car. They are thought to be dead so the girls run away and don't tell anyone. At the end of the book (SPOILER!) a while after the crash, the protagonist goes to the crashed car and finds out one of the boys is still alive. I remember a scene where she is in a lake with another boy. That's all I can remember at the moment! Thanks for any help.
