There's a short interview with the author at the back of the book I read first. For some reason, I felt like I was supposed to read it before. So the author herself has been in a mental hospital. I'm not sure if I knew that. From the interview, she seems very down to earth!
I haven't read that yet. I really like this book so far. I am on page 50. I love her blankey and Sparkle.
Read it first! I like Lawrence!! He's such a minor character, but I laughed when I read the parts that he's in.

Okay boss on it now. I feel lil the book is real how a 15 year old would feel in that situation.

In the description of the book it refers to Anna's roommate having a secret (and plastic) baby...which gave me the impression that she had a secret plastic baby, which it was clearly not a secret...On the other hand, if they were referring to #1 a secret baby and #2 a plastic baby...well yes, she did have a plastic baby but her pregnancy was NOT a secret, as she had told the doctor and Anna about it and I think everyone else from what I recollect. I know I'm being particular, but it's just something I noticed =P
By the way, I was surprised about her pregnancy! did not see THAT coming!

Yeah, I sort of feel the same way about the description of the book. I was expecting someone to be carrying around a plastic baby as if it was real. I would expect a pregnancy in that situation only because their parents put them in there for a reason. I only have like 60 pages left before I go on the next. These are really quick reads. I am rooting for her and Justin.
What a quick read. Not sure if anyone else finished, but that Sandy chick. Wow. I don't want to add any spoilers. It was definitely a YA book, but it was well written.
It was cute. I started the second one. Very different pace. It's not drawing me in as much so far. I guess you have more to talk about being at a mental hospital! hah!
It's Anna, not Annie. HAH!
Wow, three weeks at a mental institution, then three weeks later, she's all better. In bad enough shape to be in a mental institution and then six weeks after being admitted feeling that the depression has gone? Realistic? If only.
