Each year, Goodreads and the members nominate the books they enjoyed the most this year, in several categories, and the winners receive a GR award.
Goodreads Choice Awards 2015

If you did a reading challenge in 2015 or wandered on Goodreads, there are probably new authors you really liked. With this week, you can verify if you'll like another of his/her books.
If you didn't read new authors in 2015, it's the perfect week to read a new writer!

For this week, you can use your first name, name or surname.
Titles starting either with a number, A or B.(The articles "a" and "an" are not considered the first word in a title.)
Titles that start with C, D, or E
Titles that start with F, G, or H
Titles that start with I, J, or K
Titles that start with L, M, or N
Titles that start with O, P, or Q
Titles that start with R, S, or T
Titles that start with U, V, or W
Titles that start with X, Y, or Z

Go have a look at your reading list, you can sort the books by rating.
Select one which is already released (some people rate high before reading) and has enough ratings (over 50, except if it's a very recent or self published book).

Choose a book in which they are plenty of other books. If some titles are mentioned, you can use one of them for Week 9, so don't forget to note the title!

20 Classic Novels You Can Read in One Sitting
35 classic quick-read books (with the number of pages)

Some books are often mentioned in other books or there are obvious references about them (for example, it's easy to encounter references about the Wizard of Oz). This week will help you to grow your culture, so maybe it will be easier to catch references. You can use a title listed in your week 7 book, have a look at what others will read or read for this week, or check the link bellow.
GR Popular Books Mentioned In Other Books shelf
Novels mentioned in Among Others (49 Fantasy & Sci-Fi authors, 28 for other genres - list verified by the author). The (not verified) listopia is here.
Books mentioned in Danse Macabre.
Listopias, maybe not totally accurate:
Books mentioned in The Perks of Being a Wallflower (mostly classics)
Books mentioned in Shelf Discovery: The Teen Classics We Never Stopped Reading (YA and children books from 70-80s )

There are popular authors, others are less known but can be in your "have to read one day" list. It's time to try one of them.

In the tv show Gilmore Girls, there's a character named Rory. She's often reading books on screen and, over the seasons, 339 titles appeared. They were made in a list that people are trying to complete. There are plenty of choices in various genres, so you'll probably find something fitting your tastes.

If you want to find easily the books on Goodreads, use this list but verify the book is really in the challenge.

There are plenty of nice classic children books that you probably never read. Most of the time, they aged well enough and can be pleasant and entertaining to read, even if they were written in another area. It's time to visit Neverland, to explore the jungle, to open the door to a secret garden or a chocolate factory, to follow a white rabbit or a yellow road, to search treasures, or to have fun with Charlotte, Winnie, Anne, Nils or Pippi.

Phew, this is the toughest one I've had to find suggestions for because hobbies are so diverse! So, to make this a bit easier, I'll offer the advice that you search your local library's online catalog or check on online bookstore like Barnes & Noble or Amazon if you're looking for the more instructional/non-fiction type of book related to your topic. Just type your hobby into the search bar (i.e. knitting, racing, photography, etc.) and, unless you have a very unique topic, you should have no trouble finding some results.
If you're interested in reading a fiction or biography/memoir book related to your hobby, I'll try to help! Unfortunately, I can't make lists for EVERY hobby out there so I've stuck to the more common ones (alphabetically). If the hobby you were looking for isn't listed, I apologize. I did my very best! Since the topic is to read a book related to your hobby, there's a lot of wiggle room here and hopefully these suggestions will give you some idea of the kind of books you can look for! And, worst case scenario, I know you all enjoy reading (you're here, right?) and that is included on the list.
Some have more than others, but I'll keep updating this list as I find more! Hope you find something worthwhile!
