It was entertaining enough. When I rated it I considered giving it two stars, but ended up giving it three.The book had a feel of a quasi scientific blog. The characters were flat and non-engaging. The dialogue/monologue wasn't realistic. But hey, it made me laugh and it kept me entertained. What more can you ask of a book like that?
So much humor! It was hilarious. The movie was also pretty good.
I saw the movie and I thought it was funny, but I still want to read the book. Is the book different than the movie?

Yeah, but I probably didn't notice it.
When I saw the movie I could tell that he was also able to survive because of his humor. If he wasn't so funny maybe he could've gone crazy.

I really liked this book! I gave it a 4/5 on Goodreads. The reason it's missing one is because of how scientific is was at first. It took me a little bit to get into it because of all the numbers, but then I got attached to Mark and I plowed through the rest of the book! My immediate thought upon finishing it was, "This movie is going to be amazing!! I need to see it right now!"
I think Mark is a round character. He isn't a dynamic character because he doesn't change. He still is an interesting character though.
This book was fun and interesting to read!
Thought it was really good, but slow through the technical parts! Loved the humor!
