Tractor trucks? When disconnected from their trailers, they are fast, powerful and BIG! Their frame can take a lot of punishment and any shooter in it enjoys a hefty height advantage on other vehicles, short of other trucks. Remember the old movie DUEL, in which an unlucky motorist was being pursued by a maniacal truck driver.

Hmmm. They are like Tanks to some degree, and their size would make it child's play to run pursuers off the road. Handling would be problematic however, and I'm not sure that their ramming abilities would be like an actual tank. Risk of getting stuck or killed if the obstruction is too big or strong

I can't get over how badass our group wallpaper is lately. Do you know how widely I had to search for that mofo? How I had to doctor it up?
'The Spy Who Loved Me' saved the James Bond franchise. It's not all that great a movie, but that is how dire things were. Roger Moore (the Saint) just couldn't find his groove. He's a pantywaist. He is still pretending like he's in with Tony Curtis in 'The Persuaders'. Upper class twit. What a disaster. But this flick is where he finally turned in a competent performance. Near write-offs: LALD, TMWTGG.
Anyway just look at that wallpaper. Kickass! For my money it's one of the single-best Bond story concepts ever. Three nuclear submarines stolen! Hidden in a Greek tanker! Outlandish! Best ever, graphic design.
The moment where Bond frees the sub crews and they swarm out of the hold to take over the ship. They come boiling out of that hatch. Dang. Just can't beat it. If only Connery could have starred!
