It's a nice idea, it would be interesting to see how it pans out for you.I tried something a bit similar with a blog kept by one of my characters

Right on :-) Good luck, great idea with those blogs. I like the whole "serialized novel" idea; 'makes me think of how Charles Dickens and so many others published their works one chapter at a time in 19th & early 20th century newspapers. I use my "blog," or site ( http://www.gainespost.com ), as a vehicle for ideas; now and then I post "flash fiction" pieces (very very short sci-fi and fantasy "stories") there. It's sort of like a canvas for me on which I paint sketches. Some of them are complete crap, while others eventually turn into more polished short stories or chapters in novels. It's also a way for me to keep myself writing when life is so busy that I struggle to do much else :-)
I haven't tried putting up anything longer on my site, as that isn't really my style at the moment, but I think you're onto a cool idea! I wish you luck with it!
George wrote: "I have checked your blog, it´s about poetry. I wrote poems too, a long time ago..."Poetry,whilst morally reprehensible, isn't actually illegal. (although perhaps it should be? The smack of oppression might improve the standard ;-)
But the blog is the blog of Tallis Steelyard, who, I freely confess is a poet, he does tell other stories ;-)

you can read a new fantasy novella (rated 4.5 at Amazon and Goodreads) from a unique magic world here at my blog :-)
I post a chapter per week. Enjoy and comment ;-)
