Dorsey Jr. | 107 comments Hey Guys,
For any of you Indie Authors who are creating your own covers, here's a site where you can create your own characters. With a little bit of effort, time, and creative vision you can create a pretty descent character. Even if you don't want or have the skill to color it yourself, You can use it to come up with a general idea for what's in your head and have some one else vector it. I was just about to use it to create a character for a new series I'm about to write and thought I'd share. Hope it helps!
(BTW Don't mistakenly click on the sponsored links as they will take you away from the site)

I like to pre-viae my characters too. It helps me write. Glad it helps.

Christina McMullen (cmcmullen) Ah, you might want to check the FAQ regarding commercial use. It's not strictly prohibited, but you do need to contact the creator of the service and set up an agreement:

Nick Tingley | 11 comments I probably won't use this for covers, but I just had a little play with it to create a visual version of my character and I think it is awesome. It is so helpful to now have a picture image of my character stuck up on the wall by my computer now.

Awesome find (even if I'm not using it for the same reasons)

I just found this.

They have different outfit pieces under the different genres, so don't be scared to mix and match.

However, it is their property, so you could only reference it, but dang was it ever fun to play with!
