Diary of a Wimpy Kid is by Jeff Kinney, and is a book that is kind of weird, but it turns out good. The main characters are Greg, Rowley, Roderick (Greg's brother), Greg's family, and people that go to Greg's middle school.

Greg is in middle school, and being in middle school stinks. Greg has his best friend who's name is Rowley. They try to fit in and it doesn't workout for them very well. About the middle of the book they get in a fight, and don't talk to each other for quite a while. Then Greg sticks up for Rowley, and they become great friends again at the end of the book. It is just like any other middle school book or life!

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes comics, it is a childish book, but it is still a good book to read.
