"And having it is the other half, Charles if you don't want it that's fine. I can find someone else to be put in your position, but know that I wouldn't give anyone the chance to be put there if I didn't believe they were worth it," she said.
"And do you believe me to be worthy?"
"You wouldn't be with me right now if I didn't."
I grunt in reply, and make my way to the food courts.
"I will respect whatever decision you chose to make, but you need to decide soon so I can figure out who I'm should replace you with."
"I will help you to push back the invaders, but after that, I'm done."
"As you wish, just know that I believe it's a mistake," she finished.
"Well, that's your opinion. Me, on the other hand, think that it is for the best."
"For who? You or them?" She asked.
"Well, they don't want me in this position, and I agree with that. But, if I go now, we may well be throwing away a tactical advantage."
"I already told you why they don't want you and you will be giving it up. But if you do step down that is something I will have to deal with." She said.
Laz rolled her eyes and continued to walk down the long corridor.
When they get to the quiet dining hall, Laz opened the door and walked in.
