Since I’m planning on taking some vacation time in the middle of November it seems like a good occasion to remind people of my services. I’ve helped more than three dozen authors through the Goodreads site and in recent weeks I’ve had so much going on that my schedule got a little out of control. That’s what we call a learning experience.
Another one was that sometimes looking at the first thousand words or 10 pages isn’t a good gauge of how much work and time it will take to do justice to someone’s masterpiece, so sometimes I have to come back and say, “I’m sorry but I have to ask you for more money.”
It’s the real world, folks. My rates are good and the results seem to have helped a lot of people.
